4pets telescopic dog ramp - Easy Steps
The EasySteps dog ramp, telescopic, light and very easy to handle, allows young dogs and old dogs in particular to climb in and out of vehicles very easily, minimising the potential for muscle and joint damage to both dogs and their owners.
Really importantly, EasySteps are so strong that they don't bounce, a typical feature of cheap ramps which often puts dogs off from using ramps for ever.

The benefits of a dog ramp
Dog ramps make it possible for older dogs in particular, or dogs recovering from injuries, to get into and out of vehicles. It’s probably time to invest in a ramp when an older pet needs a bit of assistance, especially if you want to avoid lifting it, often getting muddy or wet in the process!
Ramps also make sense for some young, growing dogs, especially for breeds which are prone to arthritis problems in later age.
Why choose the 4pets EasySteps?
- 4pets set out to design the very best dog ramp at a sensible price. They succeeded! We reckon that the EasySteps dog ramp is streets ahead of the competition.
- The EasySteps ramp is exceptionally easy to handle, even with one hand (which is very important when you’re holding your dog lead with your other hand), has non-slip treads with high-grip ridges (good even in wet weather), is the lightest we’ve seen at only 5.4kg, has been TÜV tested with a 100kg load (in the test it only started to deform at over 200kg!) and has a no-rattle, slide-control braking system which allows you to extend it just by lifting it up.
- Really importantly, EasySteps are so strong that they don't bounce, a typical feature of cheap ramps which often puts dogs off from using ramps for ever.
- EasySteps also look really smart.
- This is for sure not a cheap product, but it is so good, and should last for so long, that it has to be excellent value for money.
- It’s designed and manufactured in Switzerland.
Specific features:
- The great strength is largely due to the optimally engineered honeycomb design of the reinforcing structure.
- The soft rubber feet, the same on both ends so you don't need to worry about which way round to place it, grip well to most ground surfaces – it's the feet which prevent the steps from slipping, and they also prevent damage to the car when the EasySteps are not in use.
- It telescopes from 69cm to 160cm – you can use it even if it’s not fully extended.
- 40cm wide, 11.5cm deep when closed.
- It's made from non-toxic aluminium, glass-fibre reinforced plastic, and rubber. All parts are free of toxic substances.
- It’s best cleaned with water and a damp cloth, or a garden hose. Jet washing could force dirt into the guide rails and is therefore generally not recommended.
- The friction-based braking system prevents the ramp from crashing open when you lift it up; it slides open under control. This makes it safer to use, with no potential for opening unexpectedly, or opening noisily - crashing to the ground - and frightening your dog. Apart from the quality of the feet and the components generally, it's the friction-based braking system that copy products leave out.
To recap: You'll probably store the EasySteps ramp in the boot of your car, maybe next to a 4pets PRO cage. Open the boot, lift out the EasySteps with one hand (you're holding your dog lead with your other hand), hold it up and allow it to open smoothly and quietly until it reaches the ground - this only takes a few seconds - then place one end on the car boot sill and let your dog walk up it. Easy!
